Overhead crane for a leading Ukrainian agricultural machinery enterprise

By the order of a large Ukrainian enterprise, which occupies a leading position in the production and supply of various agricultural equipment not only in Ukraine but also in leading European countries, a team of the Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant LLC manufactured, installed, and then commissioned an overhead crane with a crane overpass.

Two-speed engines were used to accurately position the cargo, and the crane itself has the following characteristics:

• carrying capacity - 1.0 t;
• crane span - 7.0 m;
• rise height - 3,5 m;
• construction height - 970 mm;
• lifting speed - 8.0/2.0 m/min;
• hoist speed - 20.0/5.0 m/min;
• crane movement speed - 40.0/10.0 m/min;
• operating mode group - A5 (medium).

Basic crane equipment:

• electric hoist and end beams - manufactured by Podem (Bulgaria);
• span bridge (beam 45M) - manufactured by Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant LLC (Ukraine);
• hanging wired control panel;
• radio control system;
• 2 current leads (to the hoist and to the crane motor) - cable, type Festoon;
• double flange running wheels.

The crane passed the complete control assembly on the territory of the Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant LLC after its full production, which went in parallel with the installation of the workshop building, where it was planned to be installed. The schedule agreed with the Customer was fully observed. To reduce the period of stay of installers at the installation site, the crane was sent to the place of operation in assembly, due to which the period of installation and commissioning, as well as statistical and dynamic tests of crane equipment was only 9 hours.

After that, the representatives of the Customer were given a technical report on the tests and all the technical permits required for commissioning the crane. At present, the new crane equipment is being successfully operated, while its main purpose is to supply sheet metal to the plasma table, as well as further transportation of finished products.
