Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant LLC manufactured a bridge crane for a large domestic producer of coke and chemical products

In July of this year, the KMP-3.2-6.8-6.0-6.0-A5 EX model overhead crane for the largest Ukrainian enterprise producing various types of coke and chemical products, the main of which is blast furnace coke, was manufactured at the Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant LLC.

Having carefully studied the specifics of production at the Customer’s enterprise, the specialists of our plant developed the project in the shortest possible time, and then based on it, the technical task for the manufacture of the ordered crane equipment designed for operation in an explosive room.

Technical specifications of overhead crane:

• carrying capacity - 3.2 t;
• lifting height - 6.0 m;
• crane span - 6.8 m;
• lifting and lowering speed - 8 m / min;
• speed of movement of the cart - 20m / min;
• crane movement speed - 20 m / min;
• group operating mode according to ISO or GOST - A5 (medium).

The new crane is equipped with a rope hoist of the MT EX type and movement gear motors in explosion-proof performance manufactured by Podem (Bulgaria). The electrical kit is provided by a renowned French manufacturer, Schneider Electric.

The span bridge and end beams are made at Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant LLC. Power supply to crane equipment - flexible cable with trolleys on a cable. Management is carried out using a pendant remote control. Of the additional equipment, there is a limit switch for lifting and lowering.

The crane successfully passed the control assembly and test tests at our plant, after which it was sent to the Customer, who will carry out its installation on-site in the final crushing section of the coal preparation department, where it will be used for maintenance and repair of existing equipment.
