An overhead crane for a metal fabrication plant was manufactured

For the leading Ukrainian enterprise for the production of building, bridge and non-standard metal structures at the Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant LLC, a overhead bridge crane was made, which was necessary to replace the outdated analogue.

Technical characteristics of the crane:

Complete set of delivered equipment:

• wire rope type MT, end beams of production, motor-reducers of movement and lifting-production Podem (Bulgaria);
• span bridge - a welded beam of a box-shaped structure (the width of the skiing shelf is 295 mm);
• limit switch of raising and lowering;
• limit switch of movement of the crane;
• trailer switch of movement of a waist;
• load limiter;
• thermal protection of the lift engine;
• phase control relay;
• light and sound alarm for crane operation - CN 380V;
• current supply to the crane - closed trolleys;
• pendant control panel;
• radio control system.

The crane and trolley current lead of the closed type 100A were mounted in the conditions of the existing production. After commissioning was completed, static and dynamic tests of new crane equipment were carried out. Two-speed hoist and crane hoisting and moving mechanisms have made crane operation more convenient and safe. Now moving loads are positioned smoothly and accurately.

Already at the end of the first working week after the commissioning of the crane, the temporary indicators of the assembly of metal structures were significantly reduced, which allowed to increase the volume of products.
