A 10-ton bridge crane was manufactured and installed in record time – in 10 days

A large Ukrainian enterprise, which is one of the leaders in the woodworking market of Ukraine and Europe, recently ordered our factory to produce an electric single-girder bridge crane with a lifting capacity of 10 tons.

At the same time, our experts had a difficult task: to manufacture and install crane equipment in the existing workshop along the tracks with a parallel crane, and it was also necessary to complete the order as soon as possible. And the staff of the Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant LLC did not disappoint the Customer: the manufacture, delivery and installation of the new crane were completed in record time - in just 10 days!

An important factor in the successful implementation was the availability of the necessary basic components in the warehouse of our plant, including end beams and hoists, supplied by our main partner, the Bulgarian company Podem. It is worth noting that in our warehouse there are constantly more than sixty units of end beams and hoists of different models, which allows us to quickly manufacture cranes for our customers.

The main technical characteristics of the crane KMO-10.0-16.5-13.0-A5:

• carrying capacity - 10 t;
• lifting height - 13.0 m;
• crane span - 16.5 m;
• lifting and lowering speed - 6/2 m / min;
• speed of movement of the cart - 20/5 m / min;
• crane movement speed - 40/10 m / min;
• group operating mode according to ISO or GOST - A5 (medium).

The basic equipment of the crane:

• wire rope type MT production Podem (Bulgaria);
• end beams - Podem (Bulgaria);
• gear motors for moving and lifting - Podem (Bulgaria);
• span bridge (box beam of welded construction) - Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant LLC.

This overhead crane is equipped with two-speed engines, which will significantly extend their service life, as well as carry out accurate positioning of goods using the micro-speed option. The electric hoist has a design with a reduced height (hoist with a reduced building height) to ensure the maximum range of the hook.

A bonus to the supply to the crane was an additional radio remote control, which can be used to replace the main remote control in case of failure. As a standard, crane equipment is equipped with a wired control panel on quick-clamp connectors. Power supply - closed trolls.

In order to further ensure safety and convenience in operation, the crane is also equipped with:

• load limiter;
• trailer switches of movement of a waist and crane;
• thermal protection of the lift engine;
• phase control relay;
• light and sound alarm;
• LED illumination of the working area.

After the crane was delivered to the place of operation, its installation, commissioning, and test tests were performed by our factory employees within two working days. Currently, the new crane equipment is successfully operating: with its help, materials are unloaded and transported to sections of the workshop in which fuel pellets are made from wood waste.
