By order of the Prydniprovskyi Bio-TPP, engaged in the production of electrical and thermal energy using the latest innovative technologies, two electric overhead cranes were manufactured at the Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant:
- single-beam suspended, models KMP-3.2-10.5-9.0-A5 - for installation, maintenance and repair of powerful pumps in a new pumping station;
- two-beam, models KM-20.0-14.0-10.0-A5 - for installation, repair and maintenance of the turbine, condenser unit and pumps located in the new turbine hall.

- load capacity - 3.2 t;
- lifting height - 9.0 m;
- crane span - 9.0 m;
- lifting-lowering speed - 4.0/1.3 m/min;
- trolley travel speed - 20.0/5.0 m/min;
- crane travel speed - 20.0/5.0 m/min;
- operating mode group according to ISO or GOST-A5 (medium);
- execution - general industrial.

- rope hoist type MT, motor-reducers for movement and lifting - manufactured by Podemcrane (Bulgaria);
- end beams - manufactured by Kyiv Crane Machinery Plant;
- electrical equipment - manufactured by Schneider Electric (France);
- flying bridge - beams of the M series;
- limit switch for hoist movement;
- crane travel limit switch;
- thermal protection of the lift motor;
- load limiter;
- main contactor in the circuit;
- pendant control panel;
- the current lead to the crane is a flexible cable with trolleys on a cable.
The construction and further operation of the new pumping station will reduce the cost of thermal energy for the end user, increase the use of own, environmentally friendly fuels and, accordingly, reduce the consumption of natural gas and coal.

- current supply to the crane - closed trolleys.
The use of new innovative solutions in the delivered crane made it possible to significantly reduce the maximum load from the wheels on the crane tracks, which led to a decrease in the metal consumption of metal structures under the crane. Modern two-speed drives produced by Podemсrane provide full control over the movement of goods during the installation and maintenance of power equipment. The complete set of the crane of the modern model of the Podem hoist made it possible to significantly increase the working area of the crane, which was extremely necessary for the Customer.
The construction and further operation of the new turbine hall of the Prydniprovskyi Bio-TPP will reduce the cost of thermal energy for the end consumer, as well as increase the use of own, environmentally friendly fuels, with a corresponding decrease in the share of expensive natural gas and coal.
